Our Story
The legacy of its namesake, the Skylar Henkes Foundation offers fresh cut flowers in southern West Virginia. Skylar was a tenacious 3-year-old girl living with cerebral palsy secondary to hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. Gardening was an outlet that Skylar was able to engage in with her parents - and we choose to honor her memory by providing flowers to our community while also providing grant assistance to others living with developmental disabilities.
